Magnus / Polaris challenges conventional notions, scrutinizes and disrupts patterns, stimulates and provokes reactions, and prefers the unorthodox.

As iconoclastic artists and designers, we seek an overall aesthetic revolution, driven by the intellectual and emotional pursuit of transformation. There is an alchemy in merging neuro-aesthetics—leveraging the arts to improve health and well-being—with concept-driven, experiential design. We create beauty and mystery through contextual reference and a deep understanding of lineage and purpose.

Our ideology is immersive and in firm opposition to the establishment, while still maintaining a balanced, cohesive, and elevated livability. Expect the unexpected in our aesthetic expression, with the ultimate goal of producing a “Gesamtkunstwerk”: a total work of art.

Spatial Sanctuaries + Experiential Design​

We are high-functioning, neurodivergent designers operating at the intersection of neuro-aesthetics and experiential spatial design. Our approach is deeply conceptual - abstracting historical principles and architectural disciplines to engineer environments that are forward-thinking, transcendent, and intellectually provocative.

We juxtapose historical lineage with modern maximalism, drawing from a vast reservoir of rare materials, subverted furnishings, and museum-tier art and objects. We layer these elements with dramatic resonance to construct immersive, visceral landscapes. Spaces should inspire, engage, stimulate, and captivate. Design must be evocative—embracing inherent paradox, structural tension, and subtle wit. It should invite inquiry, ignite wonder, and defy expectation. Uncompromising environments are not for everyone, and that dividing line is intentional.

Yet, beneath this iconoclastic edge lies an equal commitment to nervous-system-regulating sanctuary. Magnus / Polaris operates on a precise symbiotic dynamic—bridging the hard physical mechanics of construction with the delicate science of sensory atmosphere. We orchestrate color, light, raw material, and spatial psychology to build environments that are as structurally unshakeable as they are emotionally transformative.
